The U2000-150 is a universally suitable, dynamically rigid and operator-friendly wheelset lathe. It represents everything that is state of the art in wheelset machining technology. With the machine’s high level of utilisation, precision and long service life, you are guaranteed a great return on your investment.
Operated utilising a central control panel, the U2000-150 ensures the operator has continuous access to all machine functions, but with the added benefit of having a fully automated machine. This takes most of the work out of the operator’s hands, making the device extremely easy to operate.
A tandem version is also available for the simultaneous machining of wheelsets in bogies with mechanically non-coupled axles.

The lathe also uses high-precision technology for measuring wear and diameter, resulting in the automatic determination of the most cost-effective machining.
This underfloor wheelset lathe is available in either a single or tandem arrangement, enabling you to simultaneously machine the two wheelsets of a bogie when installed.
