Formed in 2002 to support British engineering, RMTS Ltd has grown rapidly, increasing both customers and resources. In 2003 we became exclusive UK & Ireland agents for Hegenscheidt-MFD, the market leader in the manufacture of wheel lathes. In 2015 we became the sole UK agents for German train lifting and workshop equipment company Pfaff Verkehrstechnik and more recently, exclusive UK agents for Dutch rail transport supplier Niteq.

With over 20 years of rail industry experience, we have unrivalled expertise, enabling us to offer guaranteed response times on all emergency breakdowns. This makes us the perfect choice for any company requiring a comprehensive service contract.

ISO 9001:2015

RMTS Ltd was awarded the ISO 9001 certification in 2015. ISO 9001 is the global standard for quality management systems, developed and published by the International Organisation for Standardisation.

RISQS

The Railway Industry Standards Qualification Scheme is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of all products and services throughout the GB rail industry. This enables RMTS Ltd to be formally recognised as capable providers of products and services.

LEEA Full Member

Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) is a global trade association for the lifting equipment industry. It sets out stringent guidelines that members must adhere to and covers areas of Quality, Safety, Standards, Codes of Practice and Industry legislation.

FORS Silver

RMTS Ltd has gained the FORS Silver accreditation. The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators.

FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance.
